Our day begins with a scenic journey to Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery, where you’ll enjoy a comprehensive exploration of this iconic distillery. The experience starts at the Dewar’s Museum, offering fascinating insights into the history of the brand, followed by a tour through the whisky production process. The visit concludes with a tasting of Dewar’s blended whisky and Aberfeldy Single Malt. As a special treat for Dramventure guests, you’ll enjoy an exclusive dram straight from the cask in the traditional warehouse and receive a branded Dewar’s Aberfeldy whisky glass as a keepsake.
Next, we’ll head to the charming town of Pitlochry, where you’ll have free time for lunch and sightseeing amidst its picturesque surroundings.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit Blair Athol Distillery, a 200-year-old Highland treasure. During the tour, you’ll explore every stage of whisky production, from mashing and distilling to maturing in a traditional dunnage warehouse. The visit concludes with a tasting of three single malts, including a distillery-exclusive release, and you’ll receive a whisky tasting glass to take home. For those seeking even more variety, Blair Athol’s famous Mash Tun Bar offers a selection of rare and unique drams for purchase.

As not all distilleries permit children on their tours, we generally do not allow children on our scheduled tours. However, if you book a private tour, we can customise the itinerary to ensure a family-friendly experience, allowing your children to join and enjoy the journey with you
It starts at 7:30am and we are planning to be back in Aberdeen around 7:30pm
If you are running late, please inform us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to wait or arrange an alternative solution. However, as our distillery visits are scheduled within pre-booked time slots, we reserve the right to depart if you are not at the agreed departure point on time. In such cases, no refund will be provided
As all our scheduled tours, this tour is conducted in English.
For all our scheduled tours, we kindly ask you to limit your luggage to one small piece per person (a standard airline cabin bag or a small backpack is acceptable). For private and tailored tours, the luggage allowance may be greater and will depend on the size of your group
Most of the distilleries provide complimentary Wi-Fi for their guests. If needed, we can also set up a hotspot for internet access while travelling in our vehicle
